This has been quite a remarkable year in my life, so I thought I'd do a review by month (though there might be the occasional boring month in between).
January

January
- My despair over not finding a job was incredible, no motivation left.
- I started to read my first ever Neil Gaiman story - American Gods which my brother gave me for Christmas before. That was the trigger for one of my biggest fandoms ;)
February
- Wrote an e-mail job application to anym*ti*n (among thousands of other job appilcations....).
- Received an invitation for an interview at anym*ti*n, but my despair was still there.
- Received another invitation to do a 2-day trial at anym*ti*n... Finally some hope in sight...
- A week after the trial days, I received a phone call... Seeing it's a Düsseldorfer Number I picked up, heart pounding in my throat, and had the job, I couldn't believe it.
March
- Had the idea to build a blog, so my blog was born, then still at lost.chaosworks.org.
- We started to organize my moving out of the shared apartment in Paderborn, and I really had something to look forward to ;)
- At my parent's house we had our annual bonfire.
April
- I booked my flight to New York in June.
- The school thing I went to was severly boring.
- Dead Pope. Tragic.
- Jeannie had some teeth pulled.
May
- Went to Bremen for a week with my mother. *yawn*. Visited my brother C there.
- Finally moved away from Paderborn. Light in sight. Though I had to stay at my parents for the two months in between.
- Started packing for New York.
June
- Welcome Home! I had the time of my life with my aunt in New York and New Jersey. I wanted to stay for the rest of my life. I'll be back.
- Homesickness in Germany.
July
- Was desperate to find an apartment in Düsseldorf, and found one like last minute.
- Spent the whole month bored at my parents house and enjoyed some of the summer.
- Read Harry Potter 6. Not bad, but not brilliant either.
- Went to Basel and Strasbourg for three days with my mother. Torture.
- I finally moved to Düsseldorf.
August
- Very nervous, I started my apprenticeship.
- I survived my first week and work turned out to be very nice.
September
- Finally got my internet line in Düsseldorf. Return of the Geek ;)
- Had my first pub experience in the Düsseldorfer Altstadt ;)
- Moved servers, finally had all the webspace I need ;)
October
- Finally met some "old friends" again, after not having seen them for at least a year.
- Went to the Halloween Horror Fest at the Movie Park Germany with two classmates and had a lot of fun :)
November
- Visited two of the old friends ;)
- Had the first ever visitors in my apartment ;)
- Documented one of my dull Saturdays.
- It was my 21st Birthday.
December
- Was more drunk that I ever was in my whole life on our anym*ti*n Xmas party, thanks to free drinks.... ;)
- I merged my website and my weblog, which I wanted to do since quite a while.
- Christmas....
